Project Details

We are a young architectural practice, constantly looking for meaningful and practical solutions to improve our design proposals. We have been working in both the fields of architecture, landscape, and urban design, taking pride in the recent projects we delivered to our clients in this little yet packed time of activity. A key element at our office can be described as a “joint venture between youthful creativity and solid experience”. We stage youthful creativity while raising a constructive dialogue with our project partners time after time. In our work, we delineate the basics, we cast the main concept, we envision the potentials, we draft the first proposals, and we carry on the more interesting one to the construction drawings and then to the construction site. read more

Our approach and philosophy are always oriented toward quality rather than quantity. A carefully studied design requires research, analysis, and many unsuccessful attempts. Each concept proposal or schematic drawing is our way to push forward to conceive the more compelling project out of the given context, both socially, regulatory, landscaped, or financial. This approach applies better to public projects, or private ones meant for the public. Among the latest proposals, we envisioned the new kindergarten and nursery school for the municipality of Montese, surrounded by the natural environment and designed to better-stimulating children’s growth during the years. This over 1000 m2 structure is entirely made of wood and will host 114 pupils between the age of 3 months to 6 years. Another timber structure, a tiny one, is the Trekker’s House in the municipality of Monzuno. This small building, with a 45 m2 footprint will host people coming along the Path of Gods, offering an extended outdoor space for tents. New construction is an interesting theme for our practice, as much as regeneration and restoration projects. Working in Italy means you usually have to deal with the existing constructed environment, both from the 70-80’s economic boom or from the ancient history of our country’s monumental heritage. In this field, we restored an abandoned warehouse for the municipality of Vergato, giving a renewed space for culture and social activity, extending to the external area, now abandoned, to reconvert it into a public plaza for social interactions. We have been working on thermal historic building, located in the old town of Porretta, which now are requiring a consistent restoration. Outside of buildings, we design meaningful public spaces both in a cityscape and in a more natural environment. In this topic, we developed a masterplan for the regeneration of the town of Monzuno, which headed to the refurbishment of the central plaza, converting an urban void characterized by car roads into a more suitable environment for pedestrian. We like to challenge ourselves by working on more different and various themes, always approaching the design process with a logical and coherent method refined over time and continuously learning from week-to-week experience. read less

about

Our team philosophy pictures the work as a continuous research effort to come to envision a design solution that is “contemporary” both in its architectural definition and in its response to needs, context, and circumstances. We believe in ourselves as digital craftsmen who strive to keep the touch of printed papers, wood models, and traditional tools with the efficiency of contemporary technology.
